Help Wanted

About

Created primarily for younger pedophiles, Help Wanted is a self-help tool designed by the Moore Center for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. It consists of a series of interactive learning modules that focus on the different mental health and social challenges faced by many pedophiles. Users are also provided with advice and guidance as they progress through the course. Help Wanted is the subject of ongoing research by the Moore Center, and it continues to be updated based on feedback from pedophiles who have used it.

What they offer

Privacy information

Like most self-help tools for pedophiles, Help Wanted takes a strict approach to privacy. The tool is offered on a dedicated website, separate from the main organization, allowing the team to minimize the collection of potentially sensitive data. As stated on that site's Privacy page, Help Wanted does not record identifying information about users or attempt to track them across different visits to the site. The Moore Center takes a similar approach in its research, as all responses to surveys about Help Wanted are also anonymous.
